Cocoon Coat

A cocoon style coat is probably the most versatile coat you can own. It can be dressed up with boots or heels or dressed down and thrown over your lounge set. It continues to remain in style each year so it definitely is a worthwhile investment.

The cocoon coat and boot combo is classic and timeless. You have seen this outfit combo all over Instagram and Pinterest. Pairing it in a color scheme of neutrals is simple and effortless yet stylish. You could rotate out the sweater and wear this combination over and over again. Outfit 2:

I styled the jacket in a laid back version, by pairing it with a crewneck sweatshirt and sneakers to combine warmth and comfort. There is always the option to add a turtleneck under the crewneck for extra warmth. The coat’s design gives you room to layer. I completed the trend with a simple TrendingAbove Itsy Hoop again. Finally to survive in Chicago’s winter I added a beanie to take on snow days.
